Purpose: Develops concepts and designs graphics for use in media and multi-media products such as magazines, labels, advertising, signage, logos, websites, etc. Prepares sketches or layouts by hand or, more usually with the aid of specialized computer software packages.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 with a relevant tertiary qualification - Adobe Design Premium software/web design a pre-requisite.
• At least 3 years working experience will be required.
• Proven experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In-design
• Photography-skills will be advantageous

• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material, copy, and select style and size of type.
• Use computer software to generate new images.
• Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer.
• Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer
• Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed
